 School starts back today for my kids and most of the kids in the Middle Tennessee area.  It is a bitter/sweet time for me as I’m glad to have the house to myself and to get back into a routine, but it sure is lonely without them.  Another bitter/sweet moment is that my oldest is starting high school today.  Yes, I wrote high school.  In just four short years, she will be starting college.  Eeks!

While this image isn’t of my kids on their first day of school, I thought it was a cute image to share in celebration of  the first day of school.

I got back from vacation just a few days ago.  I have not had the chance to download all my images as I’m battling both jet lag and laundry, along with getting my oldest ready for her first year in high school (did I just write high school?).  But I do have to share at least one image from our trip.
